Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has hailed President William Ruto for his efforts to stabilise the economy.
Citing the recent survey by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, the CS said the President’s hard work is beginning to bear fruit, noting that Kenya is now the third-largest economy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
“The Economic Survey released yesterday is a testament to the hard work the President has put in,” he said.
“The efforts the President has invested in the economy are now bearing fruit. He has moved Kenya to become the third-largest economy in Sub-Saharan Africa,” he added.
Murkomen also noted that security has improved considerably.
“In the security sector, we have recorded a 10 per cent reduction in crime, which shows that we are moving in the right trajectory,” he said.
The CS was speaking in Kipketii, Bomet County, during the burial ceremony of Mzee Edwin Koech, father of Transport CS Davis Chirchir.
