Evangelical Churches of Kenya has urged Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki to serve all Kenyans with utmost integrity

Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK) has urged Deputy President Kithure Kindiki to serve President William Ruto and all Kenyans with the integrity of the heart and with skilful hands.”

According to a statement shared to safinews.co.ke on Friday 1st November, EAK Secretary General Kepha Nyandega said Kenyans are yearning for altruistic service from one of the most humble, unity for progress and attention to their felt needs.

“We know that your new role of the Deputy President is by no means a challenging job. However, we urge you to remain true to your ideals of selflessness and servant leadership,” Nyandega said.

Remember, the ‘Lord God who called you is faithful and will surely guide you.’”

Nyandega said Kindiki’s appointment to the high office is a testament to his diligence, commitment and utmost humility demonstrated over the years.

“We have no doubt that this achievement will add yet another milestone to your decorated history of accomplishments,” he added.

Kindiki was sworn in on Friday after a court lifted orders barring his inauguration following weeks of legal challenges by his predecessor, Rigathi Gachagua.
