Mvita Member of Parliament Abdulswamad Shariff has continued to sell his ODM party manifestoes to the people of Mombasa county amid stiff opposition as the members of public are demanding former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko

Moments as Sharrif stood to address the crowd on his gubernatorial ambitions, majority of them were chanting Sonko as they accused them (ODM bigfish) of putting spirited fight to block Sonko who would have helped the coastal residents

“Nyinyi ndo mnazuia Sonko kuwa gavana wetu, mnataka kuendelea kutunyanyasa na kunufaika na rasilimali za wapwani.

Tunaka uongozi mwingine sio wa jamii moja Mombasa madaam kuna jamii nyingi sana ambazo zinaishi pwani,” Khadija Ghozi alisema

This comes after Sonko revealed that he has been coerced by Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga to drop his gubernatorial bid in favour of Abdulswamad of ODM but he refused

Sonko said that his woes is orchestrated by the particular individuals within Azimio, singling out ODM party which is hell bent to frustrate Wiper Party from liberating the Mombasa people

“My fight with judicial system which am taking the case to East Africa Court is fuelled by certain clinch in ODM, I have a big problem in Azimio because I believe I can deliver more votes than Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir.

Baba urged me to step down in favour of Abdulswamad, but I did not comply with his request since I know I have more support on the ground,” Sonko claimed
