Four dies as several others nurses injuries after a bus wrecks in Meru- Nairobi highway.
It is an accident that occurred at 5Am today on Saturday 3rd December, 2022 in Tharaka-Nithi, has made four die and several others injured.
According to preliminary reports, the bus was headed to a wedding in Karen, Nairobi, carrying on board 46 members of Thau Methodist Church from Tigania East to a wedding in Karen.
The church chairman Joseph Limuli, reported that the driver could not control the bus after one of its tyres burst.
Eastern police boss, Bunei has affirmed that the survivors are nursing their injuries at local hospitals, as plans to maintain road safety are underway.
He stated,”We are embarking on a campaign on road safety in the region to address the menace.
