Sack Uhuru Kenyatta: Sonko Fires Back

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has made a chilling provocations demanding President William Ruto to terminate retired former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s international envoy job 

Speaking in Nakuru at Kingdom Seekers on Sunday 12th February, during interfaith prayers and thanksgiving service by Kenya Kwanza Government, Sonko lost his temperament following Uhuru’s remarks yesterday that he will continue supporting Azimio’s leader Raila Odinga.

According to Mr Sonko, Mr Ruto should terminate Uhuru’s peacekeeping mission job at Democratic Republic of Congo, which he appointed him, for he doesn’t respect the former as the sitting President, and as his current boss for the job.

“Rais ju wewe ni Kiongozi wa kusamehea, ulimpatia kazi ya peacekeeping envoy ya DRC, akiendelea kukudharau, futa yeye kazi,” Sonko asserted 

Sonko’s outburst that Mr Kenyatta humiliated his Deputy by then, President William Ruto, during their second term in presidency, were supported by Kiharu MP, who is the Chair for National Assembly Committee on Budget and Finance, Ndindi Nyoro

The vocal Kenya Kwanza Legislature fired back over Azimio la Umoja Coalition’s series of political rallies warning of dire consequences if they do not desist from holding ‘public consultations forums’.

“I want to send a very strong warning message for those people holding public meetings everyday, you can conduct those meetings everywhere you want, but don’t think you are going to intimidate anyone even our Commander-In-Chief, His Excellency, President William Ruto. He can not be intimidated by your threats, he is fearless,” Nyoro evoked   

Retired Former President Uhuru Kenyatta made the remarks during the burial of late Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha at Siaya, where he had accompanied Azimio’s leader Raila Odinga
