Opposition MPs faults President Ruto over attacking former boss

Members of Parliament allied to opposition have intensified their fight against the United Democratic Alliance open letter castigating former head of state Uhuru Kenyatta which they have claimed it was authored by the current President William

While addressing the members of the press in Nairobi, over 70 legislatures argued that continued attacks against the former boss by using parrots is a way of creating a political narrative for political campaign which according to them will not work for Kenyans during the next general election.

‘‘You cannot convince a young GenZ who is unemployed desoite qualification. You can not convince mama mboga who are fiding it hadd to put a meal on a table. You can not hide the fact of reduced payslip by government workers.

These are some of the things we are telling the kenya kwanza administration that it is not us fighting you, it is the reality on the ground speaking,’’ Naivasha MP Jane Kiara and Nyali MP Mohamed Ali, both defected from ruling party read the joint statement.

Ali who is eyeing Mombasa gubernatorial seat on a Wiper ticket stated that UDA’s Secretary General Hassan Omar was speaking on behalf of the president and continued attacks to the former head who handed over power to him peacefully after gambled elections is backtracking the respect he was accorded

Naivasha MP Jane Kihara also demanded mature politics from the other side of divide instead of engaging in insults and theatrics while Kenyans are facing the real hard economic times

“The debate of you found empty coffers and someone is sponsoring protesters is not factual; it is cooked narrative. You were part of the government, if there was stalled projects you were also aware, if there was money stolen those took it you should be aware, if there was good things in the last regime you too took credit, nothing happened without your knowledge because you controlled big stake in that government,’’ Ali and Kihara jointly read.

Kitui Senator Enock Wambua Kiio and Senate Minority Leader also took swipe on the current administration saying that majority of Kenyans are waiting for the bell to ring after going through unmet promises that they rode over to reign     

The legislators were led by National Assembly Deputy Minority Leader and Kathiani MP Robert Mbui and DCP acting Secretary and Nyandarua Senator John Methu.
