Muslim community living in Huruma estate have protested a decision by supkim leadership seeking to take over their land in east lands.
They accused the chairman of the supkim Hassan ole nado of advancing interest in sizing the land a mosque and school are build to have them removed and put a petrol station.
They journalists at Milimani law courts that the land in question was given to them by the mayor of Nairobi Magreat Kenyatta in 1972.
They said by then supkim was not in existence saying the interest being advanced by supkim leadership is actuated by malice and will divide the Muslim community if the same is not solved.
They said that supkim did file an application before environment and land court seeking orders to have them declared the owners of the land, The orders sought were declined by the court.
They further said that supkim leadership caused nine of their religious leaders to be charged before Milimani chief Magistrates court.
The aggrived Muslims have since advised their lawyer Danstan Omari to file a judicial review application seeking to stop the prosecution of the nine Muslims.
The application is yet to be heard by the judge in the judicial review division.
They have also advised their lawyer who has written a letter to the director of public prosecution seeking review of the decision to charge the nine Muslims.
