Ex Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has been barred from accessing podium at Azimio la Umoja’s rally where ODM chief Raila Odinga was in attendance
Raila has been on campaign trail crisscrossing parts of coast region where he started at Hola, Tana river county on Thursday 12th May, 2022
Addressing the crowd at Kisauni ground, Raila gave the issue a wide berth and instead focused on developing coastal region once elected President of the Republic of Kenya
Kitui Governor Kaluki Ngilu, who spoke on the said podium, blasted Deputy President William Ruto for hypocrisy where in his manifesto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi is reserved for Prime Minister position
“If your mind serves you correct, they’d heckle us throughout saying, BBI was to create and share positions!
Now, let me ask you, “Has Musalia Mudavadi, become a mama mboga?
Has Wetaa, become a bodaboda operator,”? Ngilu rhetorically asked.
She added, “What is in their manifesto is total blackmail, let’s not go to that direction
Baba once you win election, look at the welfare and employees of Kenya Ports Authority,” She said
However, Ngilu hinted that someone had entered the rally disrespectfully, driving his car at a high speed instead of respecting the Azimio’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga thus why he was whisked away
