The workers have gone on social media platforms claiming that they were not paid even after wasting their time to advertise the products on their agency- Daraja Plus Agency

All the workers who participated in a Dettol and Harpic project organised raised serious grievances regarding unpaid dues, which have now been outstanding for over a month.

Despite repeated inquiries within a dedicated group platform, members claim that their requests for payment are routinely deleted by the administrators.

The affected participants, facing mounting financial obligations such as rent, school fees, and other bills, have accused the agency of exploiting their labour while withholding compensation, prompting further questions about the agency’s financial integrity and treatment of workers.

“There’s something bothering us and we really need your help. Please hide identity before posting. So early January we did a Dettol and Harpic project for Daraja Plus Agency,” aggrieved workers complained.

They further disclosed that the uniforms they were putting on during the campaign time to market and publicise the dettol and harpic products were forcefully taken back.

“Then projects zikaisha wakachukua Hadi uniforms. Now they don’t want to pay us our money, it’s been one month now we keep asking and no response. When someone asks in the group, the message gets deleted by the admins. Ni kama wanataka kutuosha hizo Doo yet we have bills to pay, rent, school fees…..

They complained that their concerns in the Whatsapp group have all been falling on a deaf ears as the admins end up deleting them or removing those who are insisting

“We also noticed that the admins keep deleting the messages whenever anyone asks for the money or if anyone insists they removed from the group.” They told some outlets
