The Kenya Human Rights Commission has filed a suit to stop Independent, Electoral and Boundaries Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati from announcing presidential results
The commission conjoined with the Inuka Kenya Ni Sisi declared wavering faith on Chebukati following the 2013 and 2017 problems and urged the court to order injunction of pronouncements until tabulation is done
The petitioners wants 34A and 34B presidential forms to be made accessible from the IEBC’s website before announcing the results at Bomas of Kenya
However, High Court Advocate Alvin Kosgey has expressed discontentment with IEBC saying that they may not comply with the orders and make the document openly
