Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o is among five lawmakers who the ODM party expelled for working closely with President William Ruto
A few days after Jalang’o’s suspension, comedian and actor Eric Omondi was hosted by ODM leader Raila Odinga
Reacting to the meeting between Omondi and Raila, a section of Kenyans said the former prime minister was grooming the comedian for the 2027 poll
Popular comedian and actor Eric Omondi has raised eyebrows after meeting with the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga.
Taking to his social media page, the comedian disclosed that he spent the better part of Sunday, September 10, with the ODM leader
While sharing the meeting video, Omondi excluded confidence that there was hope because he received a lot of wisdom from the veteran politician.
“I spent the day with Baba Yesterday and received too much wisdom. The future is too bright. There is a lot of hope. Tomorrow looks good,” Omondi said.
Recently, the comedian-turned-activist was among the few people who graced Mama Ida Odinga’s birthday.
A few weeks ago, Omondi shared a video on Facebook after Odinga’s wife Mama Ida hosted him
“Day well Spent with Mama…Dr Ida Odinga. Asante mama for the Invitation and your Motherly words of wisdom,” Omondi said after meeting Mama Ida.
As they say, in politics, nothing happens by coincidence.
A section of Kenyans think the former prime minister is grooming Omondi to battle out with MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o for the Lang’ata parliamentary seat in 2027.
How Kenyans reacted to Raila’s meeting with Eric Omondi
Kenyans commented on the video and said Jalang’o should be prepared to go home in the next general election.
