NAIROBI – Communications strategist and political commentator Pauline Njoroge has resigned from the Jubilee Party after a 14-year stint, ending a long association with the political outfit founded by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a statement released on Monday, Njoroge announced her resignation as the Jubilee Party’s Deputy Organizing Secretary, a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC), and an ordinary member of the party, saying she was ready to embrace “a new chapter” in her political journey.
Njoroge traced her political career back to 2012 when she joined The National Alliance (TNA) as Communications Manager before the party merged with the United Republican Party (URP) to form the Jubilee Party.

She described her 14 years in the party as transformational, saying they had shaped her leadership, communication skills and understanding of governance.
“I leave with gratitude in my heart, cherished friendships, invaluable lessons and immense respect for the party and the leaders with whom I have served,” she said.
Njoroge paid glowing tribute to former President Uhuru Kenyatta, describing him as a mentor, teacher and political father who entrusted her with leadership responsibilities and exposed her to governance experiences both in Kenya and abroad.
“I remain profoundly grateful. As I embark on this new chapter, he will continue to be a valued source of wisdom and counsel,” she stated.
The political strategist revealed that she has been part of the Linda Mwananchi movement since February this year and has now resolved to dedicate herself fully to the movement, saying it reflects her commitment to good governance, constitutionalism, accountability and servant leadership.
She also aligned herself with the broader WANTAM movement, describing it as a call for national renewal anchored on integrity, respect for the Constitution and people-centred leadership.
According to Njoroge, Linda Mwananchi seeks to champion the interests of ordinary Kenyans by promoting the rule of law, defending constitutionalism and human rights, and advocating leadership founded on service and accountability.

Her resignation comes at a time when political realignments are gathering pace ahead of the 2027 General Election, with politicians and political operatives increasingly joining emerging political formations and movements.
Njoroge’s departure is expected to fuel fresh debate within the Jubilee Party while strengthening the Linda Mwananchi movement as Kenya’s political landscape continues to evolve ahead of the next electoral cycle.
