Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition’s Leader Raila Odinga has broken silence and condemned use of live bullets during Wednesday’s anti government protests

In a statement accompanied by a video of young boy who was shot on the leg, Raila said this is unwarranted 

“This illegitimate administration is targeting innocent children, using live bullets. Totally unwarranted, unjustifiable and uncalled for. This happened in Mashimoni- Kibra today,” Raila lamented 

At least 13 people across the country are recuperating in different hospitals across the country with gunshot wounds

Two people were short and injured by police in Migori, leaving them hospitalized in a critical condition, one short dead and another one taken into hospital in Makueni were another fatality was witnessed in Nakuru 

Confirming the number of casualties in Nakuru Level Five hospital, Medical Superintendent Dr James Waweru Munene said they received seven people with bullet wounds 

Four of them have been wheeled into theatre for surgeries while the other three are in stable condition 

Four victims with gunshot wounds were received at Bondo Sub County Hospital in Kisumu County

In Nairobi’s Kangemi area, two people were rushed in hospital with gunshots wounds 

This is according to Dr Aron Shikuku who has confided that one casualty will be referred to Kenyatta National Hospital for further surgery due to complications of his injuries
