Kisii Leaders demanded to stop tomorrow’s demos or else

On Tuesday 11th July, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua held a vast meeting with three notable leaders from Kisii to discuss the rising rebellion in Kisii region against President William Ruto’s  government 

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu and South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro as well as embattled Chief Administrative Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Joash Maangi were tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the rebellion is thwarted by all means

Mr Gachagua called the security apparatus and put them on notice that they shall get transferred from Kisii to Kapedo if they fail to stop Maandamano in Kisii and  Nyamira Counties on Wednesday 12th July.

It has been alleged that an agreement was reached to counter Wednesday’s Azimio la Umoja Coalition’s demonstrations through allegedly hiring crowds in each constituency to chant anti Kisii Governor Simba Arati’s songs.

Our moles alleged that five million was mobilized by DP Gachagua himself and given to the three leaders to disburse it to United Democratic Alliance MPs and UDA coordinators in all constituencies to pay demonstrators.

“They agreed tomorrow to hold anti Simba Arati and anti Raila demos in kisii town and some markets towns like Nyamarambe and Ogembo.

Already the money is out,a meeting was held in Suneka over the same, Nyamarambe and another one at ogembo where some group of bodaboda have been given 500 each.,” Source close to the meeting disclosed 

This comes a day after Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader Raila Odinga urged Kenyans on yesterday at Nairobi to come in large numbers tomorrow to hold government accountable over the skyrocketing cost of living
