Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna listed best performing senator

Ledama Ole Kina of Narok takes second as Machakos County Senator Agnes Kavindu emerges third nationally

Nairobi County Senator Edwin Sifuna has been ranked top performing Senator, according to newly conducted research by Tifa polls on Wednesday 19th July

Sifuna was closely followed by Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina who was listed the second best performing senator, shockingly six best performing senators are drawn from the opposition side beating their counterpart from the government side

Machakos County Senator Agnes Kavindu Muthama, who is an entrant in politics, has emerged among the top senators in the country, in performance ratings, taking number three of performance.

In a poll in which the public was asked to rate the performance of their senators on an incremental scale of 1-10, Kavindu emerged third nationally.

“This is an indication that the work I have done has not been in vain. I am grateful to know that Kenyans are watching and appreciating those leaders who are playing their part to improve livelihoods,” said Kavindu.

Kavindu was appointed as the Chairperson of the Senate Ad-hoc committee investigating and coming up with the recommendations of US Embassy bombing in 1998

After, selection, she assured Kenyans that she will lead the extensive exercise to make sure families of the victims are compensated handsomely though acknowledging that lifes of their loved ones can’t be replaced

Other top performers included Richard Onyonka of Kisii in fourth position, Daniel Maanzo of Makueni in fifth position, and Enoch Wambua of Kitui in sixth position.

The senators for Murang’a, Embu, Tharaka Nithi and Kiambu then followed in that order to close the top ten performers.
