A number of Kenya Defence Forces [KDF] officers were on Sunday injured after running over an Improvised Explosive Devices [IED] in Lamu County
According to statement released on Monday 11th September, by KDF, the officers were on patrol along Milimani Baure road when they encountered the unfortunate incident
“The injured officers were airlifted to Manda Base Hospital for Medical care and treatment,’ Read the statement in part.
Meanwhile, KDF has called residents to share any information on the identity of the criminals and their whereabouts whilw condemning such criminals activities in the region
