Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i today left kenyans in stitches after shelving off his braggadocio and ate humble pie by greeting deputy president William Ruto
In a video and photos doing rounds on social media, Matiang’i humbly greeted second in command and showed no signs of arrogance and disrespect to the already estranged deputy president from Jubilee Party
The move, has left netizens speculating that super CS has now recognized the strength and possible defeat in August 9th, 2022 by none other than the person whom they have never supported for presidency
This comes as a background of Matiang’i warning all public servants to shun from active politics and instead support whoever will win in August General Elections
‘I want to tell all public servants that as the CS for interior we shall organize peaceful transition and there will be no chaos in the whole country.
“As civil servants, we are supposed to avoid politics and campaigning for a particular candidates, let kenyans decide for themselves but not us influencing them. Matiang’i said.
