Former Kitui Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu has broken her silence over the past augury and the culminating  intrigues now surrounding the Azimio’s political oblivion after the August polls

In her statement on Friday 17th Feb, since she withdrew from governorship race, Ngilu, revealed that they all knew Azimio was a project destined to fail from the signs, painted in all the four corners

“We all knew from the word go that Raila will lose to William Ruto, the outcome was obvious that Ruto will be elected President,” She disclosed

Ngilu, who dropped her second  gubernatorial candidature in favour of David Musila of Jubilee Party, though he lost terribly to Dr Julius Malombe of Wiper [both of Azimio’s coalition]-had been promised of Cabinet Secretary slot, should they [Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition] have won the presidential elections-pours out a regretting heart

“I was misled not to seek re-election  as Kitui Governor, I realised too late that Azimio will not win election, but we were forced to push on and campaign for a lost project,” She added

On the debate surrounding the current anti-goverment series of political rallies by Raila Odinga led team, Ngilu scoffed, that it’s a malicious and selfish push geared to force President William Ruto into Handshake

“The current maadamano by Azimio is not only illegal but disgrace to our Nation, the purported IEBC Whistle blower and Hacklers are just lies to force Handshake,” She added

The one term governor who served great county of Kitui between 2017 to 2022 though booed by constituents in her second attempt to win their votes, fears nothing to speak of her mind, and taking bold decisions even when it’s an unfavourable conditions

She boldly tells the Raila faction over the ongoing push that, “I won’t be part of the people who want to destroy Kenya for their selfish interests,”.
