Bungoma signs MoU with KNBS for partnership in data management

Governor Kenneth Lusaka and Director General Kenya National Bureau of statics George Obudho have signed an agreement geared towards streamlining and management of Data.

The Partnership will see KNBS support Bungoma county to establish statistical system that will handle survey administration for county specific needs, joint data collection, analysis, dissemination and exchange programme,
resource mobilization and establishment of county statistics forum.

Speaking during the function, Lusaka said the partnership will go along way to help the county in planning for resource allocation and development respectively

” For you to plan well ,you need accurate statistics and this partnership is very important for us,” Said Lusaka .

The governor further said KNBS will be a key player in County Integrated Plan (CIDP), Budgeting and statistical support on scholarship and Free farm input programs.

The function was attended by among others the Deputy governor Jenepher Mbatiany and other county officials.
