MAKUENI, June 20, 2026 — Grief has engulfed the Ukambani business community following the death of Makindu Motors founder Stephen Ngei Musyoka and his wife in a road accident along the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway.
The couple lost their lives after the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a crash on Saturday.
Police officers and road safety investigators have begun inquiries to establish the cause of the accident.
Musyoka was a well-known entrepreneur whose business interests transformed him into one of the leading investors in the region.
