Senior citizen Peter oyan has withdrawn a complaint he made against a section of the media which published it’s health status.
Oyan through his lawyers Danstan Omari cliff ombeta and Shadrach wamboi had raised a complaint to the director of criminal investigation saying the media had falsely published that he was not Hiv positive.
The lawyers pointed out that upon the DCI carrying out the investigation it was established that he was HiV positive.
Through spiritual interaction at doctor Owour’s church their client was spiritually healed.
The lawyers pointed out that after sometime their client Peter conducted them and said he no longer interested to go on with the case that he chose forgiveness.
Omari said that the DCI had already to the office of public prosecution for consideration.
He said the DPP has since considered the request from their client and no further prosecution will ensue.
He further said that his client is fully spiritually guided to forgive the media and other individuals who may have caused the false publication.
