Kalonzo accuses Ruto of backtracking the power of constitution and leading Kenyans as he wishes

He spoke while flanked by other opposition leaders including Jubilee’s Jeremiah Kioni and Eugene Wamalwa

Opposition Leaders led by Wiper Boss Kalonzo Musyoka have on Wednesday 30th accused President William Ruto of burrying his head under the sand over current political shenanigans

While addressing the nationa at Kalonzo Musyoka’s Command Centre, the former Vice President termed the ignorance from Mr Ruto as wanting and that needs political reflection from across the country

“Despite overwhelming evidence including that of the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua during the Impeachment Trial, Mr. Ruto continues to claim that he is not aware of any such incidents,” Kalonzo wondered.

According to President Ruto, the current political onslaught against his once dalliance intertwins, are nothing to bother the country as those of serial abductions and disappearance of Kenyans without being produced before the courts

In his speech over the weekend, the Head of State refered the ongoings as divisive politics aimed to taint his administration

“All these abductions, extrajudicial killings are “fake news and propaganda that is hurting our nation,” he was quoted in national television stating

Kalonzo made it clear to Mr. Ruto that it is his ill-thought out efforts to revert Kenya to a police state that are hurting the nation, stating that,“the buck stops with him,”.

In their opposition stance, they called President Ruto to resign with immediate effect for violating his Oath of Office “to be faithful and bear true allegiance to the public of Kenya,” and that he would “obey, preserve and protect this constitution of Kenya.”
