Kitui West Member of Parliament Edithi Nyenze urged students from Mikuyumikya Secondary School to work hard so to achieve the best out of them in their life
Welcoming students and teachers on Wednesday 9th at Parliament Buildings, Mrs Nyenze, exposed the them to parliamentary precincts resonating their minds for great future
“Hawa wabunge mnawaona huku wote wamesoma wako na madegree na wengine waliacha kazi zao ili kuwadumia wananchi kwaivyo lazima msome kwa bidii ndio mkuwe kama wao.
Wasichana nawaomba msikubali vijana wawaharibie maisha yenu kwa kuwatogoza, wasuburi mpaka uhitimu kisha mnaweza ongea baadaye na ukiwakosa kuna wengine huko ngambo,” Bi Nyenze alisema
Loosely translated in English “All these Members of Parliament you see have got degrees and others left their professional jobs to serve humanity thus you must study hard to become like them.
I urge girl child not to accept to be swayed away by seductive men, they should wait until you complete your studies and if they don’t, never worry you will find others abroad,”.
She also urged them to avoid any temptations during this short holiday as they can make great impact in those remaining days
“We have a lot of hope in you, you are our future leaders, so my plea and emphasis is to keep seeing you growing,”. She remarked
