Deputy President William Ruto’s running mate Rigathi Gachagua has retreated for public speaking lessons after majority of kenyans treated for a fray of his buffoonery

Days after he mocked Kamba nation voters, that 1.5 million votes Kalonzo was denying them (UDA) can’t make anyone President, the Mathira MP is now believed to have been ordered to  minimise his public speeches.

Even when together with the DP, Gachagua is keeping a low profile

This comes after spate of public gaffes that exposed the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to trolling on social media networks.

“Bad company corrupts good morals. I will never tire to remind you that since Ruto chose Gachagua over Prof Kindiki, his popularity has gone down the drain.

He will have a hard time gaining ground that he has lost,” Nicholas Kimathi tweeted

Just days after Ruto selected Gachagua to his number two, the first-term MP made headlines when he asked his boss to consider offering plates of rice and beef to residents of Nyeri County at the Sagana State Lodge if he becomes President.

He also made headlines when he said that his companies makes Sh 360 billion per year, Kenyans asking what kind of business does he undertakes, while majority of Mathira residents are yet in the yolks of joblessness and others tyrannized

Hassan Abdallaha Abdi tweeted,” Gachagua wa Mucere does it again…. I told you whenever he (Gachagua) opens his mouth to speak, Ruto looses over 500k votes. Tiriiiiriiing!!

He was again talk of the town when suggested that big companies like Safaricom and Kenya Airways should be controlled to grow small businesses.

It did not end there. Addressing a rally in Baringo County, he said areas that will vote UDA MPs will be prioritised in military recruitment.

And just the other day, he said the DP endeared himself to Mt Kenya using his money.

Initially, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa had warned DP Ruto not to choose Gachagua over Prof Kithure Kindiki

“We can’t go to an election with a cantankerous, shabby, foul-tongued person like Gachagua, a man like Gachagua who believes in buying people.  Gachagua lacks credibility.

His many court cases are a burden to DP. Kenyans will accuse us of launching a corruption ticket to ballot,” Ichungwa maintained
