Speaking at a church fundraiser in Mwingi on Sunday, Former president Ruto called out President William Ruto for always playing the blame games, instead of delivering the way he promised.
The former head of state revealed that he and some opposition leaders had received threats despite stepping back from the Kenyan politics
Uhuru however, outlined that he is no longer scared of the threats , he highlighted that in fact he has grown immune to the threats and blame games from Kenya kwanza.
Uhuru stated,”I am no longer scared. We have been threatened and told a lot of things. Each time someone fails in their mandate, they blame the previous government. I am used to the blame and life continues,”
“I am not a conman. I always tell people I am an Azimio member and that is where I belong. My stand has not changed. You should be a politician with a stand who can always be trusted,” he added.
Notably, Uhuru implored all leaders to come together and work for Kenyans. He outlined that they should embrace servant leadership and deliver the manifesto they had during the campaign period.
He stated,” Let us not allow politics to divide us. Everyone has an opportunity to contribute to the growth of the nation and end poverty,”
“For servant leadership, we are in the positions that we are in and God has given us those positions not for ourselves but to serve others,” he added.
