Opposition Chief H.E Dr Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has hinted of a possible strong political coalition bringing together people of Mt Kenya and Lower Eastern region to form one formidable alliance
Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has poured a heavy condolences message to the family, relatives and friends of his recently departed aide when he was 10th Vice President of the Republic of Kenya, Daniel Kimanzi Muanga
While speaking before the mourners and faithfuls at International Christian Centre; at South C, Kalonzo remembered the late as a vision carrier who contributed much for the leadership of this country even before assuming the position of the aide
“It’s a terrible loss for me, I have lost someone who was always charismatic and jovial. He contributed so much for this country and I know we would have accomplished the race,” Kalonzo recounted late’s achievements
He further, disclosed of looming integration between the central people and lower eastern people to form one political block while extending an olive branch to the late Kimanzi’s children that he will be their mentor and would meet them soon
Three of the late’s sons have married beautiful gilrs from the central region, signalling a strong cohesion, integration and cordial relationship between Kambas and Gikuyus
“Mama toto[Giddy] God be with you, God will give you the strength to endure all this. God will do what’s fair, what’s just and what’s honest not only for this family but for the whole country,” he reiterated

The former Vice President, acknowledged the presence of DK’s sister Mrs Mary Ng’elu as he consoled with her for the passing on, of her beloved husband, Dr Joshua Mutambu Ng’elu, on 30th July, 2021 on the midst of Covid-19.
“Poleni sana, we also lost Joshua Ng’elu and may God comfort the widow and the family,” Kalonzo remembered the late’s families altogether
Political Aspirations
The late Daniel Kimanzi Muanga, contested Kitui West Parliamentary seat some years back and lost to the late Francis Nyenze.
Nyenze family and late Kimanthi’s family have been so close until to date, as attributed by the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon. Edith Nyenze, [late Nyenze’s wife] who condoled heavily with the family

Mrs Nyenze, reminded the family and friends that it’s so indelible to leave a legacy just like the fallen soul, encouraging the mourners to join the rest of the larger Muanga’s family during the final rights which is scheduled on Saturday 8th, February, 2025 at Kwa Vonza.
