Former Cabinet Secretary Hon. Peninah Malonza made a surprise visit today to people living with disabilities (PLWD) organization in Kitui County, leaving smiles and renewed hope in her wake.

Demonstrating her unwavering commitment to uplifting the vulnerable, she generously donated three improved wheelchairs, two walking aids, and a water tank to ease their daily struggles. But her kindness didn’t stop there she pledged to deliver a rainwater collection tank within two weeks, ensuring sustainable access to clean water for the group among other pledges.

In a heartwarming gesture, Hon. Malonza also took time to educate the group on the importance of SHA and urged them to register. Understanding that some may face difficulties in the registration process, she promised to send assistance to those in need.

One of the beneficiaries, overwhelmed with gratitude, shared, “I am so thankful to Hon. Malonza for coming to our aid. This support means everything to us.”

As she concluded her visit, Hon. Malonza called on the people of Kitui to prepare for President’s visit on Madaraka Day, where key discussions will focus on energy development in the region
