Deputy President William Ruto has requested European Union to investigate the missing votes in IEBC voters registry

Speaking on Thursday 2nd June at Karen residence, Ruto told EU that some government officials are chest-thumbimg to know the IEBC data

“It’s dangerous especially when certain public officials are chest-thumbimg that they have the so called system and deep state to manipulate the elections,” Ruto said

He said that as Kenya Kwanza Coalition they are ready to work with IEBC and friends to make sure they deliver on credible elections

“We expect everyone who is concerned including European Union to try and get as much details as possible, from the IEBC and these public officials on what all is about, how would close to a million votes vanish from the register,” He added

However, speaking separately IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati said they had 19.6 million registered voters in 2017 but the number had rose to 22.5 million plus eligible voters

On the question of disappeared voters he said the captured register is under audit and will be ready by 9th June this year

“We still have few people registering twice or double close to about 600 people have registered twice and we shall sort them, the data is save bo breach and we shall have the final register by 9th June this year,” Chebukati said
