All major towns in Kenya are full of sex predators who will call young gals for ‘sherehe’ and will not hesitate to pimp them out for rape to their friends when the gals get completely inebriated or drunk.
Rape has become part and parcel of our drinking culture. The youth are the worst culprits.
Most gals realize they were raped months later after the incident when one of the guys at the party calls and asks for a repeat of the previous time.
Imagine an imaginary guy asking for a repeat performance when you have no recollection of what happened and the only faint recollection is that you were too drunk during the ‘sherehe’ and woke up with a horrible headache the following day!
It is so jarring to realize that you were taken advantage of and you cannot remember. It is even more jarring to hear the other party ask for a repeat of last time as if they don’t realize you didn’t consent to sex and whatever happened was rape.
Drunk people cannot give consent to sex. Most gals raped or taken advantage of during a drinking stupor often keep such incidents under wrap or to themselves for imagining that they were at fault for not being in control of their booze, or for being at the wrong place.
Moreover, when you are young and uninformed you imagine that it only qualifies to be a case of rape only when force has been used. Oh well, at times rape is someone encouraging you to have a drink and promising they will take care of you.
Young gals troop in off-licence pubs and clubs with fellow male students or people they have met who are eager to give them free alcohol. Those people even invite them to parties and fake birthday parties and they won’t stop refilling the glass until the gals pass out.
You may have met people who say you’re a buzzkill for refusing to drink. They will accuse you of not being fun enough or accuse you of killing the fun and you will oblige to the drinking not knowing you have just fallen into a trap.
You will meet others who will urge you to take a puff. They will cheer you on knowing that it’s your first time and you probably cannot handle it but they cheer you on because their goal is to see you completely wasted.
And you will also meet people who will convince you to take one last shot when you are already too wasted to do one more. You will think you are just a group of people having fun but as you grow you will come to learn that most of the time these people urging you to get wasted are usually rapists on the bounce.
They call it marinating gals and it is another fancy word for rape.
If you cannot remember your drunken sexual romp, that’s not consensual sex either, it was rape and marination is only a thing where most people especially young persons are not being held accountable enough for their devious actions.
It’s common knowledge that there’s a difference between having a glass of wine with your lover before you have sex and targeting drunk gals at off-licence pubs, clubs and parties to have sex with.
Having a drink with your lover is not the same thing as purposely wooing someone to have a drink when you know you would never have them any other way.
Many perverts in the universities and colleges lurking in off-licence pubs and clubs luring young gals to a drunken stupor and weed, ought to be in jail for the crimes they commit on drunk gals who are nowadays running away from their homes even while on holiday vacations from their universities and colleges and now moonlighting or hibernating with strangers, in their rented sex abattoirs, away from the unsuspecting eyes of their parents or guardians, and who mostly cannot remember what happened post coital.
Drunk gals are not easy. They simply don’t care and are just drunk gals.
It’s always easy to take advantage of a drunk person and throw them into a spin!
DISCLAIMER
These gals know exactly what’s going on….. that’s why they keep doing it again and again.
The age of female innocence ended…..these days, they’re more predatory than men.
They will make a light meal of you and all your friends if you’re not careful!
