
Section of legislators allied to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua now demands ODM MPs and those Pro-Ruto be arrested over ethnic profiling
Section of Members of Parliament from GEMA community have blasted National Cohesion and Integration Commission over biased application of justice when it comes to arresting incitiful commentators
While Speaking at Parliament Buildings on Tuesday 4th February, the MPs led by Gatanga lawmaker Edward Muriu demanded to know why NCIC has not summoned Homa Bay MP Peter Maluma and Webuye West MP Daniel Wanyama after issuing inflammatory remarks against Mt Kenya community
“Former Deputy President is being labelled as tribal and all those behind him yet there are leaders from another party who are spreading inflammatory statements against us and nothing is happening.

We want NCIC to publicly disclose the criteria they employ when determining incitement, hatred and ethnic remarks against other community,” Muriu charged
The vocal legislator told Prof Paul Kobia led commission to stop protecting President William Ruto and his government since they risk tearing the country apart if they continue harassing some communities while leaving others untouched

“When someone publicly makes dangerous statements that Kamba community knows only planting mug beans that is very insensitive remarks which should be treated hateful. We have gone back to where we came from as GEMA community that our forefathers were one unified political block that couldn’t be shaken,” Muhia stated
She said that the ruling class has started sending weavers in the ongoing political formation and they should be ready to face it tougher as their days to enjoy power are winding up
Starehe MP Amos Mwango, indicated that they are going to table the list of MPs who have not been summoned by the NCIC even after issuing inflammatory remarks in a broad daylight yet the agency body has kept sleeping in the same bed with hateful mongers
“Some of our colleagues have been tortured, arrested and warned of trying to fight for their democratic space but others are dancing with the government agency which is supposed to uphold the rule of law. It is imperative that these institutions are so baised in application of justice,” Mwango stated
Kajiado North MP Onesmus Ngoyoyo condemned with the strongest terms possible the way NCIC is working for not apprehending those sending hateful remarks against other tribes
“It is now crystal clear that President Ruto, and his government together with the Ministry of Health have stolen over Sh 100B from Social Health Authority after Auditor General on yesterday disclosed an alarming report that SHA monies can’t be accounted for
“He don’t have anything now to tell Kenyans if over 100 billion shillings can’t be accounted for and was swindled to a specific bank,” Ngogoyo stated
Muranga Senator John Nyutu sought to know why government is unsettled when Gachagua and his allies speaks whereas when other leaders from luhya and luo land are kept issuing the same remarks

“When Beatrice Nyakango- Chairperson Controller of Budget was being targeted for impeachment , Kisii and Nyamira people defended her but when GeMa people speaks defending their own it becomes an inciteful remarks,” Nyutu charged
