A Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna has blasted former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime for the tribulations he went through the hands of rogue official government
Appearing before NTV’s News Anchor Joe Ageyo’s talk show, Miguna also accused Raila for the same mistreatments just immediately after the mock swearing in on January 2018
“Raila collaborated with Uhuru Kenyatta to have me tortured, have my rights violated and forcefully removed from Kenya to exile for their evil plans.
Raila went on my back in October 2017 to collect money from former President without telling me something which I came to learn later when was being forced to exile: Ageyo interrupted demanding him to adduce evidence or keep off unsubstantiated claims,” Miguna basted him alluding that he knows if it was Raila, would talk uninterrupted
Miguna told Ageyo that Raila has been using deductive logic strategy to reduce any upcoming influential leader or politician from Luo Nyanza through political schemery
“When Otiende Amolo and James Orengo objected to preside over the first attempted mock swearing in which was to happen at Kilifi, Raila reached me, I travelled to Mombasa to swear him at Kilifi but unfortunately, I was stopped by police for more than six hours which you guys never covered instead of taking photos.
He felt that his influence was shifting because kenyans who had voted for him overwhelmingly and against Uhuru Kenyatta felt that am the only person who can face the impunity head on, so they started fading their support to me because of my charisma,” Miguna insinuated
He further alleged that former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga came together on March to institutionalize impunity for the reasons best known to them, thereby exonerating President William Ruto over his earlier antics through tweets against him
Questioned by Ageyo when did he stop calling President William Ruto demagogue, Miguna said that in politics people change their perspectives on the way and by what they anticipate in the future
“Ruto was also sailing in the same boat but he has totally changed on the way and he is not the first leader to change the strategy if then you realise the situation is becoming worse, what do you do? He asked rhetorically.
However, interestingly, Miguna who never fears to speak his mind said that he’s ready to accept any job offer from the President, but it should be envisaged in the constitution
I am happy today because my project for the last four and half years was to bring down Raila regardless who wins and make sure that someone else becomes President,” He added
The controversial lawyer turned political activist claimed that opposition’s chief leader, Mr Odinga has completely destroyed the Luo Nyanza’s social fabric, economy, political optimism and cultural fabric and he has not natured anyone to take up the political mantle after himĀ
