Laikipia: Interfaith Readiness Ahead of Ruto’s thanksgiving service tommorrow

The religious committee organizing the grant reception for the President William Ruto’s church service attendance on 8th January 2023 at PCEA in Nanyuki is in the top gears with security having been beefed up

This, is, according, to the interdenominational chairperson leading the committee which brings together about thirty churches drawn from Nanyuki, Bishop Francis.

Maina confirmed that the church will be held at Nanyuki Stadium, which has been prepared fully to accommodate up to six thousands attendants- with the clear message that the church is in fore front as president preaching unity and peace for the country

“Our message to the president is that Laikipia is a cosmopolitan county and we love each other, we shall be happy if he addresses the hunger and insecurity for the common good of the Laikipia people,’’ Maina undertook.

The Bishop, accompanied by Rev. Muhenia, Vice Chair and moderator for the PCEA Church in Nanyuki, held that thirty churches will be congregated at Nanyuki Stadium to receive the President William Ruto as he strengthens the already existing unity within the Laikipia County

“Laikipia is a country that holds president with a high regard and we love him, we shall continue to support the president’s agenda to scale up the economy of the country and as a church we shall continue being loyal to the new administration for he has shown how much love to the church,’’ He added.

He [Ruto] will be accompanied by Cabinet Secretaries, Permanent Secretaries, Members of Parliament and other notable leaders across the country to a thanksgiving service at the said church
