Safaricom’s Risk Management and Cyber Security Boss Nicholas Mulila causing sleepless nights to Kitui gubernatorial candidates

His achievements ranging from multimillion projects, educational and health infrastructural facilities as well as uplifting the lives of the locals has left them with nothing than endorsing him as the next Governor

When local communities and citizens think of electing political leaders, one of the questions which is most sought after is whether the person is hand approachable and what impact has he or she made within the locality or areas of feasibility 

This, perception and attitude towards those around you can’t be underestimated by any outgoing politicians or anyone who has the  ambitious to grow to the heights and  attain the most glorious moments in his life 

Going by the latest developments from Kitui County, there stands one outstanding philanthropist whose big heart of doing what community desires most, would pose greater challenge to political commoners in the next election if there’s anything to go by in gubernatorial position

The most sought after philanthropist, who has caused sleepless nights to already those who declared gubernatorial candidates within Kitui County is none other than the Chief Risk Management and Head of Cyber Security Officer at Safaricom PLC, Mr. Nicholas Muinde Mulila

His outstanding multimillion donations, community empowerment and being one of the different project’s initiator, unlike others, makes him earn a lot admirations and trust in the people’s hearts whose their votes determines the next governor

It’s common knowledge that people don’t like to be told lies, given empty promises, unmet pledges and commitments or someone who has to be reminded what he ought to do as a leader, according to Henry Fayol’s scientific research, people move with those impacting change 

Mulila, who donated millions of shillings in last weekend, started his morning activities by attending and supporting the completion of AIC Katheka Community Health Centre project where over Ksh. 1.7M was contributed.

Later on he attended two church funds drive at ATG  Kwa Vonza led by Rev. Stephen Ngui and AIC Kwa Vonza township in aid of construction of modern churches, something that he’s been advocating for the modern structures just as Safaricom’s mission 

While addressing the attendees, Mulila’s speech highlighted on the importance of the church as a pillar for a  good family and reliable,prosperous society at large.

“Church is a champion of social economic empowerment where good hospitals and schools are developed. Church is a source of hope and voice of reason during crisis and difficult times,” Mulila emphasised.

He reminisced faithfuls that one of the zealous call to stand with the church leaders and supporting their infrastructure is because is a symbol of unity and strategic vision for the congregants.

“We don’t give because we have plenty or for show off,we give as a way of thanksgiving to God and support towards charitable activities that impact on communities that struggled to collectively  bring us up,” he reminded those opposing church functions and speaking ill of the pastors 

This comes at a time when Catholic Bishops on Thursday 14th November, challenged President William Ruto on his administration while on the other hand, he attacked them during Tangaza University graduation ceremony, questioning their intellectual capacity before making statements directed to his government

Hon. Mulila pledged to work closely with all the leaders,stakeholders and the citizens to ensure that Kitui County realizes it’s full potential economically and socially.

Later ,Hon. Mulila joined friends and family at the rural home of Mr. Dennis,a key figure in Kitui Rural for a luncheon and meet the people tour.

Some of the politicians who have declared their gubernatorial candidacy in Kitui County, some of them with nothing to show of for the period they have been elected are current Kitui Senator Enock Wambua, former Governor Kaluki Ngilu, Kitui Central MP Dr Makali Mulu, and former Kitui Senator David Musila
