Kalonzo urges government to uphold citizens’ right to worship and remain steadfast to the Jesus’ high calling not hypocrisy
The People’s Loyal Coalition Principal Dr Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has blasted politicians over the unprecedented levels of betrayal following the political pact between President William Ruto and ODM Leader Raila Odinga
While addressing faithfuls at Christian Foundation Fellowship church at Bunyala Raod in Nairobi on Sunday 9th March, Kalonzo urged religious leaders and faithfuls to pray for the country and especially politicians for they have misdirected the nation
“When you see younger Kenyans raising up to condemn some acts happening in churches today it’s because politicians have corrupted everything.
How can someone flaunt millions of shilings as donation to church the money which has been stolen from the public instead of helping youths with employment and empowering them socially and economically,” Kalonzo remarked referring to Sh 20 million donated by President William Ruto to Reverend Edward Mwai of Jesus Winner’s Ministry- Roysambo
Kalonzo urged the CFF Bishop Harrison Nganga to lead a serious crusade at Uhuru Park and call for those stealing public funds to repent- an act that can only save the country from going to the trenches of impoverisations
Additionally, Kalonzo reiterated his stance on the political agreement between President William and ODM leader Raila Odinga stating that was just another betrayal to Kenyans and most importantly GenZs who have fought very hard to liberate the country from bad governance and misrule
Kalonzo maintained that Ruto and Raila’s political dalliance won’t bring anything fruitful if they won’t address the corruption which is at the high gears, the cost of living, unemployment, and wastage of public funds
