The Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has today blasted Kenya Kwanza government for the attempts to place an offending burden on Kenyans saying it was a vicious attempt to make Kenyans paupers

While speaking during a prayer meeting at the Yatta Farm, Kalozo asked Kenyans to join in the noble cause of political and economic liberation saying it was the appointed time to make a difference

“I want to express my sincere appreciation to all the @TheWiperParty leadership who despite intimidation and overt bribery, notwithstanding the bets of which political party would be the first to fall prey to the whims of those who currently hold the instruments, who stood and continue to stand firm and tall,’’ Kalonzo urged their followers to remain firm

However, the Wiper boss reiterated that their victory was stolen by the minority Chebukati-led Independent Electoral and Bounderies Commission (IEBC) and illegally validated at the Supreme Court of Kenya

“In the National Assembly, our majority numbers were unlawfully and systematically reduced to mirror the farce of a stolen election,’’ He reiterated

On matters surrounding his disputed 2,000-acre farm in Yatta, the Wiper Boss termed the allegations of land grabbing as baseless since he bought the land from its rightful owners.

He noted that it was important for Kenyans to be enlightened on how the piece of land was allocated, and the subsequent ownership transfers.

“The Yatta Farm is protected by God and not humans. Many people have said many things about this farm, and I need to give a historical perspective.

“This portion of Yatta Farm that touches Thika Super Highway was bought by this family from a lady known as Janet Chirchir,” Kalonzo clarified.

After securing the northern part of the farm, Kalonzo turned his attention to the southern portion, to which, he contacted the owner and struck an agreement.

“Janet Chirchir was a widow from Kericho who had been allocated around 100 acres. On the opposite side, I bought it from a gentleman known as Major Lang’at from Nakuru.

“What the family did was to set up a wall that runs around it. We would, therefore, like to be very open about this,” Kalonzo explained.

On August 28, 2021, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) cleared Kalonzo over the Yatta Farm transaction after hours of grilling at the Kiambu Road headquarters.

The Wiper Leader had presented himself after a section of politicians made public accusations that he had illegally acquired the piece of land

Today’s event was graced by the former Premier Raila Odinga, Martha Karua, the three Ukambani governors, Senators and other Azimio leaders among them former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, embattled Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni and all Ukambani County Assembly Speakers as well as all Members of County Assembly
