WIPER leader Kalonzo Musyoka continued his two day AZIMIO la Umoja One Kenya campaigns in Kitui and Machakos today.

The team which comprised Kalonzo Musyoka, Governor Malombe, Senator Wambua, MPs Irene Kasalu & Vethi Nyenze, Andrew Sunkuli and Gedion Moi representative landed at Ikanga and Matinyani before proceeding to Machakos earlier today.

During the tour, Mr. Musyoka challenged locals to vote six-piece in favour of Wiper candidates.

He popularized Raila Odinga’s presidential bid saying the Azimio flagbearer was the best bet for the region in the august 9 polls.

On the other hand, Kenya Kwanza Coalition’s Presidential candidate William Ruto termed the move by the government to lower the prices of maize flour as a ploy to persuade Kenyans to vote in for Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition by August polls

Ruto who spoke during his campaigns trials in Kitui county termed the move as gimmick, daring the President Uhuru Kenyatta to reduce the prices of other commodities if they are ready to address the cost of living and cushion kenyans from biting economy

“They are telling us that they have reduced the prices of maize flour, where were they when it shot up Ksh 230 per 2KG packet.

My friends, don’t think that we are fools, you should have subsidised these basic commodities long time before subjecting kenyans into suffering, they come when few days remaining for Kenya Kwanza to form the next government,“ Ruto scolded

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua called on the kambas to support their side to end prolonged sufferings

Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale praised Kambas kingpin Kalonzo Musyoka that they served with him when was incharge of government businesses and makes of a good leader, although he has been deceived

“I can only be convinced if you lowered the prices of salt, sugar, wheat flour, gas, fuel, cooking oil and bread and if not, then we can’t buy your cheap political gimmick,“ Duale laughed off.

Mr Ruto made several stopovers in Ukambani accompanied by UDA’s Kitui County gubernatorial candidate Jonathan Mueke, UDA’s senatorial aspirant Stephen Kilonzo as well as Starehe MP Charles Njagua among others
