The International Criminal Court [ICC] has received and replied to petition from Kenya’s lobby groups seeking it’s intervention on extrajudicial killings during Azimio’s demonstrations
In a letter seen by safinews.co.ke, the ICC noted that they have received the petitions and have started planning for thorough investigations into the cause of over 50 claimed to have been people killed by police
In their factual summary response, ICC noted several lobby groups and independent institutions which have raised similar concerns on the merchinery’s bigotry over the opposition’s protesters

The ICC further noted the matters to weighty similarly to 2007/2008 post elections violence, but assured their full cooperation and collaboration with the listed institutions led by Operation Linda Jamii’s Chair Dr Fred Ogola and Secretary General Calystus Wafula
The United Nations[UN] Human Rights Watchdog had also noted stating that, “….much concerned by the widespread or disproportionate use of force including the use of fireams by police during protests in some parts of East African nation, Kenya,” Spokesperson Jeremy Laurence stated.
