United Democratic Alliance’s Parliamentary aspirant in Kitui Central the journalist Bonnie Musambi has conceded defeat by the incumbent David Makali Mulu.
In a social media platform on 10th August, Musambi congratulated Mulu for his third term to serve the people of Kitui Central
“I take this opportunity to congratulate the MP elect Dr Makali Mulu, do your third term, but serve ALL people equally,” Musambi said
However, the journalist turned politician, alleged that there was massive rigging of voting on a broad daylight but he chose not to dispute the election
“My political journey begins officially! Despite open and massive rigging at Kitui Central, I chose not to dispute MNA results,” He added
Meanwhile, on a positive note, Musambi bragged for garnering more votes to his preferred Presidential Candidate William Ruto than any other candidate in Kitui County
“I have delivered the highest number of Ruto’s votes among all other Ukambani constituencies, Kitui Central led
I thank all those who believed in me, an update will come later this year, Asanteni sana. The future is bright,” He concluded
Mulu who is a Wiper Candidate floored Musambi with 31,754 votes against UDA’s 9702.
The Green Thinking Action Party Kasyula Joseph managed to get 7758 and Jubilee’s Henry kituti got 903
