Although Lesbian Gayism Bisexual Transgender Queer[LGBTQ+] people in every region of the world face marginalization and repression, their human rights have steadily advanced.

The Biden administration has an opportunity to further promote LGBTQ+ rights by asserting them as  foreign policy priority just like former USA President Barack Obama did in his tenure 

But in African Countries, the policy has been negated and painted as non issues to what’s bedevilling continent’s countries as far concerned to food security, diseases, literacy and extremism 

Some of countries in African have been sanctioned by the West and others denied foreign donor funding following their negative perception, reluctance and passing the laws banning the ungodly act 

However, the importance of gay rights and LGBTQ+ issues in African countries is a complex and sensitive topic. 

It is important to recognize that attitudes and views towards homosexuality vary widely across different African countries, and there is no single perspective that applies to the entire continent.

In many African countries, homosexuality is still criminalized, and there is significant social stigma and discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals. 

This can lead to a variety of negative consequences, including harassment, violence, and limited access to healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.

On the other hand, opponents of LGBTQ+ rights in some African countries often cite traditional cultural values, religious beliefs, and the preservation of societal norms as reasons for opposing homosexuality. 

They argue that same-sex relationships are contrary to their cultural and religious beliefs, and may view homosexuality as a threat to social cohesion and traditional family structures.

It is important to approach this topic with sensitivity and respect for diverse perspectives. 

Human rights, inclusivity, and the protection of individual freedoms are ongoing discussions worldwide, and the importance of LGBTQ+ issues in African countries is part of that broader conversation.

President William Ruto played cold feet on the controversial debate by allowing the courts to interprete and declare the gayism unlawful as per the Kenyan Judicial systems, avoiding the pressure from Biden’s administration and his acquaintances
