President William Ruto has ordered Cabinet Secretaries and Permanent Secretaries to serve all Kenyans regardless of their political differences and tribal lines

Speaking on Friday 6th January, during Cabinet Retreat at Fairmont-Mt Kenya Safari Club Motel at Nanyuki- Nyeri County, the Head of State has sought stoppage of bureaucracy in government and deliver to all Kenyans regardless of their political differences and tribal lines
“It’s not necessary to write a letter if telephone call is important, it’s not necessary to make a telephone phone if a letter is swifter, let’s us efficiently and effectively serve Kenyans. President William Ruto told Cabinet Secretaries
The Head of State warned Cabinet Secretaries and Permanent Secretaries not to hold people of Kenya at ransom by piling up files and documents on their desks without clearing them every day
“Each and every one of us must clear their desk every day, once you find your desk is full of files and documents, it’s very clear indication that there is a big problem in your ministry,” He added
He further added that the Kenya Kwanza Administration will digitize all government services in the next six months so that people can access all government services without bureaucracy and undue delays caused by cartels
“We are consolidating the government’s plan for the turnaround of the economy with a focus on agriculture, value addition and manufacturing. When we work together, we must protect the interests of the millions of the people, deliver on our pledges and move the country to prosperity. Digital world has made works easier, like hustler fund, it has been implemented serving over 40 million Kenyans without holding public baraza and making queues, those political meetings and unnecessary bureaucracy we should do away with them,” Ruto held in Nanyuki.
The President also said that, Kenyans should access birth certificate, land records, electricity bills and procurement services through digital platforms in order to curb corruptions and laziness in service delivery as well as efficiently and effectively serving kenyans
In matters of collecting taxes
Dr Ruto sought his ministers and other government agencies to be more of pro-digital creativity and innovativeness- so as to address old culture and and bureaucratic systems that has made public sector difficult on transaction of the daily businesses
“Water is a commodity we can sell to our offtakes who want to use water for irrigation and other investment opportunities so that we can private sectors helping the government in investing locally to boost our economic grid
We must be aware that the government policy is a bottom-up model and we would like to show the whole world that we can achieve through digital revolution,” He emphasized
President Ruto also added there will be ministerial caucus tasked with the responsibility of prioritizing projects, monitoring, evaluating and accessing them for feedback in order to achieve them in a shorter period of time
“Sending a letter takes longer time than sending a telephone messages, it’s the important time for government to make the available swift and efficient resources to serve Kenyans without bureaucracy
As we build our own program for the next budget, it should carry all projects we want to achieve
Each one of us should work beyond their villages and their counties, CSs and PSs will be travelling to all parts of Kenya to serve each and every citizen all the way to Turkana,” He added
He reminded them that the people of Kenya entered a contractual agreement with them during the August election and that their time-bound to deliver to them without excuses
“We must know that we have a contract with the people of Kenya, people of Kenya went to the ballot and signed a contract between William Ruto and Kenyans
The contract we have is sacred and solemn and we must protect the interests and resources of the millions of Kenya who pay taxes,” He noted
