“Despite being gubernatorial opponents, we are both on the same side of the battlefront. I’m defending my seat on a Narc ticket while Musila is in Jubilee and both are constituent parties of the Azimio La Umoja grand coalition,” said Governor Ngilu.
The Governor emphasized that their main focus was to deliver a decisive win for Mr Odinga’s quest for Kenya’s highest office.
“Our key focus is to get Baba to State House and deal UDA and Wiper a humiliating defeat. We are thus keen to avoid ‘friendly fire’ for the sake of Azimio victory in the impending elections.
Ngilu further called for peaceful elections both at the county and national levels.
