Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition Deputy Presidential Candidate Martha Karua has assured Laikipia residents to curb insecurity menace once they are elected come August
Speaking at Nanyuki on Tuesday 24th May, Karua who was accompanied by Azimio’s brigades said that it’s only under Raila Odinga’s presidency Kenyans will live comfortably after combating criminal elements within the society
Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya who was in company said they will reduce cost of fertiliser, boost agricultural products and establish a world class market for their livestock
The leaders accused their counterparts in Kenya Kwanza Coalition of spreading political fears that they control certain areas in vote rich region
They further added that their government will arrest and prosecute all corrupt individuals starting with their counterparts at Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by Deputy President William Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua
“There are people who belong to Kamiti Maximum prison and Shimo la Tewa, those who stole public funds should be placed there, help us we make we make the next government,” Karua pleaded.
She said that since her tenure in different government portfolio, she has never tainted her career nor her image and she would rather resign instead of working with crooked leaders
Karua, Munya and Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni’s entourage was received triumphantly alongside DolDol road, Nanyuki, Naromoru, Wiumirere and Nyahururu towns in Laikipia county
