- He swiped on President William Ruto that something needs to be done on the constitution though not impeaching him
Operation Linda Ugatuzi initiative have claimed that they have collected more than five million signatures in a bid to resuscitate the country
Speaking on Thursday 6th July, at Tom Mboya monument, former Strathmore University Lecturer Fred Ogola , claimed they are waiting IEBC to be constituted so that constitution can be amended
“Our amendment to the constitution is not about removing President William Ruto but having a National Dialogue in Bomas since the Bipartisan talks collapsed and it’s nolonger an option,” Ogola said.
Prof Ogola, who concealed in which political side is siding on, revealed that they are submitting as many petitions against the government as possible because it’s hellbent on breaking the law
“We call opon all religious leaders and civil society to join Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition’s Leader Raila Odinga in fighting a common enemy. This is because the issue is leadership, we need to go to Bomas to fight out a solution together.
The scholar further said that leadership is both the leader and the leadership system.
“The system can make a bad leader a good leader. Just like in the USA where Donald Trump, even though he wasn’t a great leader could not do whatever he wanted because the leadership system could not let him.
This comes as Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition’s Leader Raila Odinga has called Kenyans to rally behind tomorrow as they mark the saba saba protests scheduled to take place at Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi on Friday, July 7, 2023, will be held countrywide.
The opposition leader rallied all his supporters across the country to mark the historic Saba Saba Day, by protesting against the current government over the high cost of living.
