Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is accusing President William Ruto for trying to push him from power while he has a lot of aspirations to meet
Waititu who has been battling with court cases over his enmass wealth now claims that even Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is also in the list of those bending him
“I am one of those people who campaigned for President Ruto and his deputy. I even donated my cars, including a Toyota Tundra that was commonly referred to as The Beast because of its fancy modifications. Now I am an isolated man and it seems I have been forgotten. Those close to the President do not want to see me speaking to him directly,” Mr Waititu recounts.
He further pointed out that even some of his friends, have stopped calling him and whenever he calls
“I used to get so many calls of different politicians and citizens in need of favours when I was a governor, but now, they don’t call neither don’t receive my calls, have now come to understand what’s politics,” He lamented
The vehicle is one of the assets the Bishop David Oginde’s commission [EACC] froze over grounds that it’s part of the assets bought of proceeds of corruption when he was Kabete MP and Kiambu Governor
The frozen assests, including motor vehicles, land and other properties are woth Sh1.9 billion, according to court documents
Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission has been following his Jamii Bora Building and Delta Hotel, which he says that were financed by one of his banks and can prove before the court given ample time
