The ban has also been extended to Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndidi Nyoro and a  host of other Central Kenya and Rift Valley MPs

The notified leaders have been given a travel ban imposed on them by the United States [US] and European Union [EU] countries.

The info suggests to intelligence received by Western nations that they are responsible for the violence that was perpetrated on Azimio protesters last week.

The same itel suggests that with the blessings of DP Gachagua, they paid known criminal elements to infiltrate Azimio protesters, kill and injure protesters, and destroy public property.

Their aim was to portray Azimio protesters as goons and thugs. The info was captured by western intelligence agencies from the handsets of the same UDA leaders.

Also, President Ruto has been made aware of the situation. While Western nations cannot censure the DP by virtue of his position, he has been made aware that Gachagua is not welcome to Western capitals.

The same cable suggests that Western intelligence agencies alerted Raila and Azimio leaders not to attend the protest, as plans had been  concocted from the highest levels of Government of Kenya to injure or possibly kill him. They strongly advised him to lie low.

The information was delivered to CS Alfred Mutua by Western diplomats, and to the President by Trade Representative Katherine Tai, of the United States.

The information was vetted by US and EU security agencies. Also briefed on the spiralling situation in Kenya was US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.
