The husband of celebrated vernacular radio presenter Mercy Mawia commonly known as Kamuwetangi who passed away on unfortunate circumstances following a surgery at Nairobi Hospital has revealed the cause of her death
Her husband James Mwangi revealed that she died due to a blood clot related to s surgery
The couple had faced significant challenges in the quest to have a baby after eight years of unsuccessful attempts before she got pregnant
Mr Mwangi disclosed that doctors had warned them but his lovely darling chose to continue with the pregnancy while undergoing numerous precautions
The curtain fall while she was five months pregnancy
Senior Political Leaders from Ukambani including Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti and former Kitui Governor Kakuki Ngilu congregated at AIC Milimani for her requiem mass service in honour of her life
She will be laid to rest on Friday 2nd August at her matrimonial home Nyahururu, Laikipia County
