Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has asked President William Ruto to take some wine when making difficult decisions
Speaking on Sunday 16th April, during Thanksgiving Church Service at Machakos, the vocal politician, told Head of State, that some decisions needed to be made by unsober minds
“I have heard the clergy saying that we should forgive each other because taking revenge ain’t permissible, you are a person who forgives but sometimes revenge is good though the Bible doesn’t condone it,” Sonko stated
He pleaded with the President to take some tots, not as much as his predecessor, who according to Sonko, chased everyone in government leaving behind with the opposition leader Raila Odinga
“Mr President, even Jesus taught that we should take some wines, not as much as Uhuru who took much and could see zigzag, just take some tots when making until chasing everyone from the government, we know you are a God fearing man but it needs some wines when making tough decisions,” He added
Sonko, who is loved by majority of all in followers across the political divide, warned Ukambani leaders to shun from jealous, hatred and envy and instead unite for common good
“The problem with our leaders is when one is appointed Secretary we start feeling jealous, when one is appointed in higher position start infighting, this should stop and empower each other,”
He urged all Kamba people to support the government of the day, telling them that President William Ruto will win smoothly come 2027 even if they support him or no
