- He survived his political career by virtue of being nominated,subsequently approved by Jubilee as Senate Speaker
- He now wants to outwit the incumbent governor, Wangamati on a UDA ticket led by DP Ruto
Bungoma County Kenya Kwanza Gubernatorial Candidate Ken Lusaka has this evening joined Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala who is also gunning for the same seat.
Malala was launching his deputy Dr. Beatrice Inyangala at Kakamega county while Lusaka praised and urged Kakamega residents to vote for him.
“I know him as a person who cannot be swayed by anybody, he is a straight forward man and a Luhya who can sacrifice for others.
If Malala wins and I win in Bungoma then this will be a formidable force,” He emphasised
Lusaka observed, “We hope to celebrate our victories together come August, this will help us develop our regions which have lagged behind”.
Malala picked a woman to help him galvanize votes from Women in the County.
Mr. Lusaka is the current Speaker of the Senate assmbly in Kenya having been appointed and approved by the Jubilee after losing his second term at Bungoma governorship race
