Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Prof Kithure Kindiki has issued a warning shot Azimio Leader Raila Odinga that security agents will not allow him to masquerade under the freedom of democracy

Kithure was reacting on Sunday 4th June, over Raila Odinga’s impending threats on Monday 5th June, should the President William Ruto doesn’t  drop the Finance Bill, 2023 over its resistance by the public

“For avoidance of doubts, no one in the Republic of Kenya, will be allowed to ride on democracy provided in our constitutional instruments to kill people, destroy properties, or steal people’s items under the shadow of democracy,” Kithure ordered

Kithure noted that security agents do not have anything to do with those giving divergent views as provided in the democracy to participate in political, social and economic policies

“I don’t have any problem with Kenyans giving their opinion that this bill should be amended this way or that way, policy makers have plenty of time to deliberate and make all necessary changes they want.

What we will not allow is someone to leave those institutions placed by the constitutions to solve policy problems and matters to do with legislation and start destroying properties of our citizens, that will not happen,” He reiterated

Kithure said that parliament will debate, if they don’t agree, they will vote on the proposed finance bill, adding those who loses, should wait another period as provided for in the law

“Hata wale wanasiasa wadogo wadogo nimeona wameanza kufuruga amani kwa sababi eti wao ni wa chama cha rais wajue sheria haina chama, tutakuja kuwakamata

On matters regulating the  churches Kithure said that whoever will hide false doctrines in the name of religion may it be church or mosque will be weeded out ruthlessly

“We have dealt with one notorious pastor at Kilifi by the name Mackenzie, those who are alienating bible teachings contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ will face the instruments of law and defenders of the justice,” Kithure concluded
