He was pleading health professionals to join the union but they refused demanding accountability of their union dues

Embattled Kenya National Union of Nurse’s Secretary General Seth Panyako was yesterday booed by section of nurses accusing him of squandering union dues without offering tangible leadership

In a spirited move aimed at depopularising the long serving SG, nurses refused to join the union stating of fruitless endeavours and an obsolete organ that is only benefiting few crop of individuals

Speaking to safinews.co.ke on Friday 22nd March, former NNAK President Alfred Obengo, slammed Mr Panyako of forcing nurses to join in an union that seems unfavourable to their interests and demands

In a video clip doing rounds on social media platforms, health professionals are heard demanding of accountability and transparent from Panyako

“It’s emerging that Seth Panyako cannot survive without the tittle of SG. Definitely because of financial incentives and the power that comes along with the title,” Obengo stated unapologetic

He further disclosed that at one time had offered to induct Panyako on how to survive without titles but he refused the free counselling session about the life

Mr Panyako and his team of selected branch officials were chased away by Tana river nurses who refused to join back knun until free ,fair and transparent elections done.

His drama and didoes could not save the team from charged health professionals as they are still demanding him to pack his boots and leave

“I think we need to enlighten some people here, about the doctrine of separation of powers, and individuals from institutions. There is a big bold line between a Union as an institution and the SG as an individual.

The SG is not the UNION and the UNION is not SG.,” he maintained
